As Festival Manager, my role spanned program development, site production, marketing (production of event website and printed festival guide), volunteer recruitment, managing a $2M+ budget with fluctuating ticketing revenues and working with event and production partners including Secret Sounds, Architects of Entertainment, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, MTV and Netflix.
I also worked closely with the Sponsorship Sales team to develop commercially viable properties and proposals, and ensure that all contractual obligations and KPIs were met.
While at Fairfax I worked alongside the teams that deliver industry leading national events, including Good Food Month, Night Noodle Markets, City to Surf and the Pregnancy, Baby and Toddler Expo and at each of the Sydney based iterations.
